TEN GREAT REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD SAY “NO TO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE”

1. Because God's say no to sex before and outside marriage (Ex.20:14) He did not say no to make us miserable. God created sex and He said it good only within a loving, committed marriage relationship. Sex outside marriage brings headache and pains (Prov.18:23).
   
2. The second reason is because you will save yourself from the guilt, disgrace, shame and sadness that sex outside marriage brings. What sounds exciting on THURSDAY night may cause you big embarrassment on Tuesday morning.
   
3. The third reason because you will spare yourself the pains and of grief of finding out
   

   
    

• Say no to immoral thought and secondly look (Job 31:1)
  
• The Bibles says, "so humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil and he will be flee from you.
  
• Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you, wash your hands from sinners. Purify your heart, you hypocrites"
  
• Fill your mind with holy, pure, good and godly thoughts (Phil. 4:8)
  
• Beware of the traps of the enemy in your dating and courtship. Self discipline and self denial (regular fasting and prayers is helpful)
  
• Speak to a trusted mentor and leader about your struggles.
  
• That you were being used rather than being loved and accepted.

4. The fourth reason because, every time you have sex with any one who is not your marriage partner you run the run risk of making baby. Note that there is no pill or condom that is 100% effective. "No to sex before marriage" is the only full proof way of avoiding a pregnancy.

5. The fifth reason because (girls), if you become pregnant that makes you a mother responsible to care for a baby. And the boy or man, the father of the baby will not love you enough to stay around to take his responsibilities. He may forsake and abandon you.

6. The sixth reason, because you will not be able to chose to marry the special person God has planned for you. Otherwise you may feel you must marry someone you have had sex with, made a baby with and now feel that you must do the right thing and wed.

7. The seventh reason, because of the danger of catching a sexually transmitted diseases or unable to have a baby later in life.

8. The eight reason, because you will destroy your plans for the future.

9. The ninth reason because you want to fully enjoy sex in a relationship of genuine love. Having sex before you are married is sex without commitment. Without the marriage commitment, sex before marriage is just loving oneself.

10. The tenth reason for saying no because, those of us who love you they expect you to say no. Think of the people you would hurt or disappoint if you do otherwise.

SEXUAL FAILURE AND RECOVERY

• One of the issues of most importance is the issue of sexual and recovery. If you have failed sexually, there is always the opportunity for recovery. If you do fail the most logical step is to get up and continue with your life. God will forgive your past mistake. He forgives. He loves and restores. It may be seem difficult, stop now and ask God, by his Holy Spirit to help you. He can help you to be strong.
  

Decide to do the following: Decide before any relationship gets serious that sex begins on the wedding night and not before.

• Decide to keep the ten reasons clearly in your mind.
  
• Decide to keep your mind clear not watching sex on Television and Videos.
  
• Decide to avoid alcohol and drug
  
• Avoiding flirtation, many young people give the wrong the messages to the opposite sex. Never allow others to misinterpret your words or deeds. Do not play with fire. It is not a crime to have fire in the place but it must not burn down the house.
